Rush-hour accident partially blocks Burnham-On-Sea roundabout
 Burnham-On-Sea
police and ambulance crews rushed to the Edithmead roundabout
besides the M5 motorway on Tuesday evening (August 19th) after
a rush-hour accident.
One
person, who eyewitnesses told Burnham-On-Sea.com was a passing
cyclist, was taken to Weston General Hospital after a collision
with a vehicle.
Police
officers diverted traffic around the scene, and the roundabout
was partially blocked, as pictured here, for around 20 minutes.
A
long tailback of traffic stretched back onto the M5's northbound
carriageway at junction 22.
